TeenGrid Map 2007 , ursprünglich hochgeladen von DanielVoyager From TSL Daniel published an actual map of the teen grid for me, that we can see where we are located (due to the limitations for adults, I’m personally not able to this this map). LL put us in the upper left corner, far away from the main land…does this mean anything? 😉

And I was really lucky off all people to met him, because he got a lot of experiences in working with educational institutions and he is a TSL greeter and mentor as well. Today I learned a lot about setting up an open island. With a lot of help from Rowan Linden, whos responses to my questions comes very fast.. good service! Ok, we got a telehub now, let’s see if someone is visiting us the next days! And there were also timee to do some terraforming, funny thing! Me on our new mountain!

Travel to teen grid was really nice. Wow, our own island. am feeling a little bit lonely. Learn to set region textures. I want some snow on top of the hills. ..enough for tonight!

It looks like I have some more time before transfered to the teen grid. So i look for some more stuff and I was very lucky that i finally met 1Roger Cortes when i was looking for doors.\r\nHe is a very good programmer and I ask him for some special scripts for games like a scavenger hunt or a door which you can only use with an appropiate key. Ok, now to some fun stuff. I didn’t know before that you can buy whole GoCart-Racing tracks. And the best is… you can choose that your visitors have to pay Linden $ for each race;-)) Not that I want to be paid for that.. The problem is to find things other people can use as well and not only the owner. Here I am in a cool „airport“-shop (I like to fly my helicopter). I bought a skydiving platform, hope someone likes to skydive. It was real fun to test all this games. This one is a Combat Bumper Boats Game. You can sink other boats with a canon. 😉

Now, I am up to buy a lot of stuff for our island. Remember, it’s the only chance to bring things into the teen grid. I think the teens are selling things as well, but I haven’t got the faintest idea about shops in TSL. I start with a little bit technology and educational tools: vendors, whiteboards, a photostudio, tools for machinima etc. Then landscaping stuff. I decide to prefer tropical landscape. Here I am in the Heart Garden Centre, my favourite place in SL for plants. And some furniture as well? Cool design shop here, but very expensive, so…maybe furniture is a thing i can do myself (like buildings). […]

…jedenfalls kam heute die Rechnung von Linden Lab. Da ich schon den Backgroundcheck zum Betreten des Teen Second Lifes durchlaufen habe, müsste mein Zweitavatar also demnächst von den Lindens dort hintransportiert werden. Also heißt es jetzt auf große Shoppingtour gehen und soviel mitnehmen, wie es geht, denn danach gibt es kein zurück.
